The United States and Canada have imposed a recall on Chinese-made mobile toy tables
On Aug 25, 2022, the US CPSC and Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made activity toy tables.
The recall is for Kidoozie brand My First Activity Desk, a children's Activity toy table that can be used on cribs, desktops, or floors. The product has an adjustable baby sling and four removable table legs. It is battery powered and measures 38.1cm x 8.3cm x 26.7cm. The product is white with buttons of all shapes and sizes and is marketed to children 12 months and older. The product model and name "G02587 My First Activity Desk" is located under the Activity Desk.
When connected to the crib, the protruding knob of the product may intertwine with children's clothes, causing a risk of entanglement; Openings in product handles can also pose a jaw compression risk to children under 18 months of age.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from January 2020 to July 2022 and in Canada from January 2020 to March 2022. About 8,176 units were sold in the United States and about 1,826 units were sold in Canada for about $30.
So far, no accidents or injuries have been reported in the United States or Canada.
The CPSC and Health Canada recommend that the use of the product is discontinued immediately and that Epoch Everlasting Play be contacted for a full refund or a free product replacement.
